Edinburgh to run Technology Solutions event following tourism strategy
Technology has been identified as one of the key factors that will enable Edinburgh to grow its tourism industry, as highlighted in the Edinburgh Tourism Strategy launched recently.
Following this, Interactive Scotland, in conjunction with the Edinburgh Tourism Action Group (ETAG) and Scottish Enterprise, is set to host a Technology Solutions in Tourism event. To be held on 23 February, the event has been designed to highlight the technology and digital media solutions that are changing the tourism industry.
“Edinburgh has had an outstanding track record of success over the past 20 years, both in terms of the volume and value of tourism,” said Chair of the ETAG, Robin Worsnop. “However, to compete on the world stage, we must keep pace with the change in technological developments.
