Local businesses change locations, expand offerings
Local businesses are excited to begin anew.
Two -- a power equipment outlet and restaurant -- have openings this month, an Internet café has opened at two locations and a car dealer continues to expand.
Buffalo Wild WingsSuper Bowl Sunday was the last hurrah for the 10-year-old Buffalo Wild Wings location in the Country Fair Shopping Center on north Maple Avenue, but it will return with a new, revamped location in another week and a half.
The former facility closed Monday and will reopen to the public with a special celebration on Feb. 20 at its new location, 1352 Brandywine Blvd., across from the Colony Square Mall entrance.
"We wanted to get more exposure," owner Bob Sparks said about the decision to relocate. "This new location will be about 1,500 square feet less (than the former location), but we'll have 120 more seats because of the patio."
Sparks said a 48-seat, six-flat screen TV, heated patio will be included on the property at the corner of Brandywine Boulevard and Brandywine Place. It also will include new furniture, several new televisions, kitchen equipment and a bar.
